Seasons Change, People Change; Nothing Lasts Forever…

Many people come and go but you have to realize why they entered and became apart of your life to begin with. Were they in your life for a reason or a season?

Some people come into your life for a reason. Once you get from them the tools you need to become a better version of yourself, it’s time to let go and move on. No matter if them coming into your life was a good or bad choice, you have to live with the decision. But don’t beat yourself up about it. Take a lesson from the encounter, adjust, and move on knowing that everything happens for a reason. You’ll still come out strong, beautiful and on the winning side.

Even if you find yourself repeating the same lesson but with a different person, it’s okay. Life goes on. You just needed a second take at getting the lesson right. Just like pictures, sometimes the first shot taken isn’t in the best lighting. You may have to take more than one shot to get the right photo. But try not to be so hard on yourself. You’re doing the best you can with the tools and knowledge that you have. Although life is short, and you only live once, it’ll be okay.

There’s other times when you learn that a person has come into your life for a season. Now some seasons are long and some are short. Seasons change just as the weather changes. Again, the same rules apply. Take what you need from the experience and apply it effectively to your overall well being. When the season ends, you may feel disheartened, but fret not. Remember the good times, take the good with the bad, dust yourself off and move forward knowing that nothing lasts forever. You’ll be fine and will have much more wisdom than you did before that person ever came into your life.

Just remember to always choose YOU! Your happiness, your peace of mind, your self-worth is far more important than trying to keep a person around who’s no longer adding any value to that order. People are like leaves, they come and go with the season. Always remember that you have to do what’s best for you. It’s your life and only you can live it. Choose it wisely.

Sincerely with love,
