The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:7 NLT, “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” Today, at this very moment, I’m placing my cares on The Lord. I may not have what I want, but I thank Him for having what I need. My finances may be tight right now but I believe in a God that’ll make a way out of no way.
People think I’m foolish to follow my dreams. I have no support from my family and have lost fake friends in the process. I’m in this thing with God alone on my side. Call me crazy, stupid, foolish or dumb for believing in God’s will. I know what He’s shown me and instructed me to do.
I know what I spent a whole year praying about. Yes, it took one full year of my prayers about my calling in life and the right path I should take before God gave me a sign. Even then, after praying, writing while waiting, I still had no idea how it would work out, when it would work out nor what steps to take to ensure it does work out. It’s called walking out on faith for a reason!
So, I made the decision to honor God by listening to his calling command for my life. He gave me the talent to write, Jesus instructed me on what to write. I refuse to be timid! Call me whatever you want to call me, but I’m trusting in God’s word. I know He didn’t bring me this far to leave me hanging. He chose me for a reason. No man is more important nor higher than God. Only He can work a miracle.
I pray that He continues to keep me covered, protected by the evil, negative words of discouraging people. I pray that the spirits of darkness do not come back. I pray that Christ’s light continues to shine on me and works through me. I pray that my words, my real life story, be a blessing to someone. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
