I’ve had this nagging idea plague my mind as of recent. I was thinking of having a party of sorts called bible study with friends. Since it’s been on my mind for a while now, I reached out to a few friends of mine just to see if there was any interest. It’s through those conversations that I realized just how much fellowship with Christ and other believers is much needed. Surprisingly, I received cheers of excitement to come together and talk about God.
In this new day and age where people only want to gather when there’s alcohol involved, it’s so wonderful to see and know that I have friends who want to share & gather in Christ. We are not perfect, bible thumping, speaking in tongue, holier than thou people. We are just a few young folk who want a better, closer life with God.
It was a long journey of losing “friends” but I’m happy with the circle I have now. Whether near or far, I thank God everyday for the love and level of friends I have surrounding me.
Prayer for friends:
Dear Lord, I pray today that you cover my friends. May you continue to keep them and guide them on a spiritual path to you. May you shield them with your love, bless them with your anointing and keep them safe from harm as they go to and from their daily destinations. Let everything they seek from you be counted done. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
