Many time I’ve been told that I care too much. However, I believe in the power of caring for another. It’s our ability to help those who need it and uplift those who have fallen that truly makes us decent human beings.
I call myself an empath for a reason. It’s my ability to not only understand but feel another person’s emotions that compels me to take action. I’m blessed to be able to listen and give advice to anyone who needs an ear and words of encouragement. When I was at my lowest, I didn’t have that. However, lacking support doesn’t stop me from uplifting and supporting others.
“I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”(Matthew 5:18-19 NLT)
