Can All Your Worries Add A Single Moment To Your Life?

““That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?” (Matthew‬ ‭6:25-27‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Many times I find myself worrying. My anxiety flares and I’m suddenly thrust into a ball of worriesome gnats. Like pesky mosquitoes, the nagging sensation of “what if” and “how things will work out” consumes and engulfs me causing me to become muddled and stagnant. At those times, I turn to this word. It helps me see things clearer by putting life into proper perspective.

Today, I pray that if any of you are stressed about something, that you turn to the Word. I pray to God asking him to take away the worry and fill you with contentment. Let today be a productive day and not a disappointment. In Jesus name, I pray Amen.

Sincerely with love,
