If God is love, then why do we tend to feel so alone? At times, I think we get in our lonely place when we forget that Christ is all we need. We start looking around at other people in happy relationships, living seemingly fun, amazing lives and we compare the fact that we are alone and not doing those things. But there’s a difference between being lonely and alone. Just because God has you in a season of singleness doesn’t mean that you are lonely.
Surround yourself with the love of Christ, the love of yourself and good friends. Take this time to work on YOU! Like all seasons, this season won’t last. God is just using you to spruce you up for the blessing He has coming your way. You just have to be patient. Worry about yourself, focus on taking care of the things you need to care for, accomplish a goal and let God take care of the rest.
Father God, I pray that we all learn a spirit of patient endurance while we wait on the right one and the right things to come our way. I pray that you continue to mold us all, guiding us on the journey we’re meant to be on in order to be the best versions of ourselves. I know that what you have in store for us is so much sweeter than what we can ever imagine. So let us continue to feel encouraged, loved and appreciated by those that matter. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
