Professing God’s Love Despite What’s Cool…

Good morning. Just as Paul wrote to Timothy about his faith in Christ, we too should be fearless in our attempts to profess our love for Him. Just as Moses had faith in his people being delivered out of Egypt, so too shall you have faith that God will deliver you from whatever turmoil you’re going through.

It doesn’t take a strong person with excellent faith to receive God’s favor. It’s in our weakest moments when God works the best. He can take our ugliness, our turmoil and pain and turn it into a wonderful story of survival. Regardless if it’s cool or not, you should count your blessings and be appreciative for what God has done for you. Don’t worry about what’s common, instead worry about what could happen to you if you continue to ignore or hide your love for God.

This is why I openly share my story. This is why I have no shame, guilt nor pride in boldly professing how God saved me and brought me out of my darkness and into the Light. Nobody helped me get over my darkness. Nobody wiped my tears as I grieved the loss of my grandmother. Nobody comforted me in my darkest hours when I tried to commit suicide. And nobody breathed life into my lifeless body as I tried to die. All credit is due to God the Redeemer for the Bible says,

“To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory.” (Isaiah‬ ‭61:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

I pray today that the Lord grants you strength, kindness and blessings as you go through your everyday struggles in life. May He keep you in an armor of peace and clothe any broken heart with love. May He continue to shine light into the darkest situations. And may He comfort those others deemed unworthy to be comforted. May He always be honored for His kindness, love and mercy. May we never be too afraid, or timid, to announce and profess our love for Christ, God our Lord and Savior. In Jesus name I pray Amen. To God be the glory!

Sincerely with love,
