Good morning Loves. Praise God for another beautiful day. I woke up this morning to three messages from my friends, each in their own way sharing their blessings of encouragement, joy, love and peace that they received from the words God puts in my mind to write. I’m so grateful for them sharing their good news with me.
I thank God for my gifts: the ability to write & the lessons I’ve learned in life because its given me a purpose. I have a story to tell and it’s through my darkness, my toughest times that I’ve been able to write & shine a light.
I take no credit for this! If it was up to me, I’d cower away, burying my story deep inside my memories as I always have. But that’s not what God wants from me. I know that now. I’ve questioned why I’ve been through so much & had so many tragedies in my life. Over and over again, I’ve been reminded of one reason.
Years ago someone called me a Wounded Healer. I hated that term and I ran from it. The very notion that my scars could be used for a purpose I couldn’t fathom. But it’s through getting close with God, reading & studying the Bible that I’ve learned that it’s not for my demise, rather it’s for God’s glory & for me to help others.
It’s been a long time coming but I’m finally happy with where my life is and where it’s going. I know I have a story to tell the world & I won’t stop until it’s complete. Many doubt me, even my closest family, but I’ve learned through my darkest hours that the only being I can put my faith and trust in is God. So I’ll continue to walk by faith, not by sight knowing that I’m on the right path.
As always, I pray my life, my story, my truth to be a blessing / a lesson to others. May the quietest voice be shown a light. May no man, woman, child nor demon be able to stop what God has for you. Let my words fill your heart & give you the courage you need to speak up & pursue what God has for you. Fret not for the road ahead. Trust your journey knowing that God is in control. Your life is meant for a purpose. I pray you seek God in finding out that purpose. In Jesus name, I pray Amen. To God be the glory.
